The Victoria Marriott Inner Harbour will be familiar to anyone who has stayed at
a Marriott hotel, as it delivers a consistent business class experience to its
discerning guests. This is my preferred hotel in Victoria - it's relatively new,
quiet, nicely appointed, and located in the downtown core. You can't go wrong
staying here.
My room on the 7th floor was clean, and finished to a high standard with marble
surfaces, tiled bath and shower, and well matched materials and fabrics. The bed
was perfect and the pillows just right. Service was top notch.
There are many hotel choices in and around Victoria's harbour. Having stayed at
many of them, I find the Marriott to be the best in class.

Just a typical boring Marriott in good location. What makes this hotel different
is concierge and front desk people who are very nice. But that's it. Otherwise
it is absolutely typical Marriott, the room is boring. Breakfast buffer -
expensive and limited. We forgot to leave a tip one night and the room was not
properly cleaned: shampoo not restocked, towels not replaced - not even folded.

This is a pretty nice Marriott with a decent location. The concierge level is
fantastic - serving free food, drinks, and snacks all day long with a great
view. The problem is that the concierge level is the only room with a view. Our
room was on high level with a balcony - but no view - which is a big bummer
because if you've been to Victoria, the harbor is stunning and when a hotel is
named "Inner Harbour" you hope it's on the harbor. But sadly this one isn't and
there are plenty of hotels that are right on the harbor - Victoria is probably a
great city to try a local hotel instead of going with the big chains.
Victoria is an great little city with lots of history and lots to do. My travel
recommendation for those coming in from either Seattle or Vancouver is to take a
flight on Kenmore Air right into Victoria's harbor - they'll land you right on
the water and the views are one of a kind. On the way back take the BC ferry.
This is just as much fun as the flight but it's really a great experience to try
both.

Who would have thought I was in a chain hotel? This Marriott was a stunner from
the beginning to the end. I got what I wanted and more. Superb location, top
floor, great vistas, elegant interiors, luxurious bed and sheets, topnotch
service, great price. This hotel is solid and will not surprise me if it will be
rated among the top in Victoria.
I left a pair of expensive shoes in the closet and realized it was missing only
the following day when I was already in Vancouver and needed to wear it for a
party that night. I called the hotel right away and arranged to have it mailed
it my hotel. Guess what? After a few hours of fun stroll and sightseeing and a
sumptuous lunch, I returned to the hotel only to find out that a mail was
waiting for me- and voila- it was my shoes!

After being on the road for 10 days in Canada this, next to the Fairmont at Lake
Louise this was an incredible find. Absolutely being gorgeous rooms with an
incredible location. The concierge gave us great restaurants to eat at and
places not to miss. What a wonderful way to end our trip.

We chose this hotel for its location and the good reviews it got Check-in
was pleasant, and the staff were very nice and accommodating. We had a dinner in
the restaurant which was very good. We were only there two nights, and most of
the time we were out with friends.
The morning we left was the problem. The hotel allows a 12 noon checkout; we
planned to be out around 10:00 to catch a ferry. At 6:45 a succession of tour
buses pulled up under our window. Each bus in turn backed in ( with really loud
beeping, and then sat with their engines on high idle while they did
something...probably loaded passengers).
No more sleep, or even peace and quiet. We were awake.
To add insult to injury, at 9:00 I received a call (I believe from housekeeping)
asking when we would be out of the room.
I called the front desk to complain about the buses and was told they didn't
know anything about them. When I mentioned the phone call, the front desk also
knew nothing about that, either, and asked if I were sure it were someone from
the hotel.
On the whole, a very nice hotel with a few rough spots. We'd go back, but ask
for a room away from the buses.

This hotel is in a fantastic location, it's just out of the centre of town, but
is walking distance to most attractions.
The rooms are spacious and the bed is one of the most comfortable I've ever
slept in! The bathroom was extremely nice with top quality Bath and Body works
products provided.
The room was very clean and housekeeping went to a lot of effort to ensure the
room was kept very clean and tidy every day.
The breakfast buffet was incredible!

We stayed here for two nights while visiting family and just loved this hotel.
The rooms are beautiful, with floor to ceiling windows showing views of the
city. The beds are dreamy and the decor is nicely appointed.
Can't say much about the service, as we didn't really use a lot of the
amenities, but it was certainly a place I would consider going back to should I
need to stay in Victoria again.
