I stay at this hotel last weekend and thought it was
absolutely wonderful. I room was clean and spacious and
it a 2 minute walk to the Inner Harbour. All the staff
at this hotel were great but Amanda at the Front Desk
really made our stay! She went out of our way to make
sur that everything we needed was attended to. Thanks so
much Amanda! We'll definitely be back! Thank you for the
great recommendations!!!!

I usually stay at this hotel for business. I know it for
its wonderful location, a great loyalty program and some
very good size rooms overlooking Victoria Harbour. This
was a trip with my wife and parents who were visiting us
from India. Right from check in to check out, it was
smooth sailing. We had booked a two bedroom suite that
had a large living area with full kitchen. That just
worked out for us as my parents are vegetarians and have
restrictions for food due to age factor. A word for
their Guest Experience Leader. I had requested her to
make this trip worth it as I have been loyal customer
and wanted my family to have an unforgettable stay. She
ensured that it was my smoothest stay. It also tell me
that this hotel has a great team behind the scenes.

This hotel was a good hotel....we stayed in a two
bedroom room. The biggest plus was that it was very
spacious, but it was also very out dated for it's price
tag, and parking was very pricey. The only modern thing
in the hotel was the lobby/restaurant. The so called
kitchenette was a cheap 2 burner stove and a small
fridge. The second balcony was also very small (we could
hardly stand on it!) but besides that it was a good
stay. The pool was a very decent size for a hotel, and
the sauna and hot tub were nice. The fitness centre, on
the other hand....was incredible! We didn't get to try
the restaurant, but it looked very nice. And lastly, the
location was awesome! We walked everywhere!

Short block from the Inner Harbour and walking distance
to many attractions. Lots of opportunity to walk along
the water. Room was great, although no A/C there was a
ceiling fan and the balcony door opened so it was not an
issue. Great fitness facilities, lots of equipment,
pool, sauna and hot tub. Decent parking underground
easily accessible. Would definitely recommend this
hotel.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in May, at the
end of an Alaskan cruise to celebrate our 30th
anniversary. When the hotel staff found out it was our
anniversary, they upgraded us to a suite for the same
price. The room was comfy, the view outstanding, the
location unbeatable, and everyone was friendly and
helpful -- from the front desk staff to the cleaning
people. We had several very good meals in the hotel
restaurant, Vic's, where the waitresses greeted us like
old friends each time we went in, chatting and offering
tips on places to go and things to see. Loved it!!

I booked this hotel on their web site for a great price.
Having read some bad reviews I will admit that I was a
little nervous. No need to be. We arrived early in the
morning and were able to go directly to our room. I had
booked a king bachelor suite and was sorry to find that
the balcony was only big enough to stand on. Went back
down and asked for a room with a full balcony. Amanda
said to leave it with her, and she would see what she
could do. She was able to find us a 1 bedroom suite for
a minimal additional charge per night. Wonderful view,
spacious and clean. Our daughter, son-in-law and 2 small
children joined us a couple of days later. They too had
booked on line. Amanda asked if I would like to have
them close to us, and I said that would be great. Again
she said that we should leave it with her. She upgraded
them to a 2 bed room suite and there was no additional
cost. This was a life saver for them as they would have
had a rough time with a little rambunctious 2 year old
in a standard room. I can’t wait to return to Victoria
and the Harbour Towers.

My husband and I stayed at Harbour Towers for "in lieu
of anniversary" / relaxation weekend (2 nights & 3 days)
and had so much fun in Victoria.
We're from Vancouver but never visited Victoria before
mainly because we find it expensive to stay in Victoria.
For twice the price of what we would be spending for a
weekend in Victoria, we could go to the Caribbean on a
good deal for at least one week. But the rates at
Harbour Towers made us reconsider our plans of visiting
Victoria.
Compared to the rates of other hotels located in the
Inner Harbour, we thought Harbour Towers has the most
reasonable rates. We really only were in the our room
for the night and maybe sometime in the afternoon when
we wanted to change to either a semi formal attire (i.e.
Afternoon Tea at the Empress) or a more comfortable
attire (i.e. for walking). The hotel is in great shape,
centrally located and the rooms and facilities were well
maintained and clean.
When we booked our room through the hotel's website, we
noted some special request mainly because what we wanted
was not in any of their themed packages. So, we kind of
created our own. The hotel's Guest Experience Leader,
Gayleen Nazaruk was very nice to have accommodated our
request and thoroughly corresponded with us prior to our
arrival. She made sure that everything will be ready for
us the way we wanted. She was even able to arrange for
an early check-in for us. What excellent service! Thank
you Gayleen!
Within the hotel's premises is Vic's Steakhouse & Bar.
We booked our dinner there the first night. The steak
was great, cooked just like we preferred and our host
Mark was excellent in attending to our needs.
We surely would go back to see more of Victoria and will
definitely book our accommodations with Harbour Towers
again.

Went for a workshop, stayed over for a bit of R & R.
When I arrived for the conference, I was given a parking
voucher so I didn't need to worry about the car all day.
Was checked in by noon. Room was great, view terrific,
walking distance to everywhere I wanted to go. Fitness
Centre, Pool, Hot tub - well appointed, clean,
enjoyable, open long hours so accessible for me late at
night and early morning. The bed was amazing, I slept
wonderfully. Breakfast at Vic's - beyond any
expectations. The fruit smoothie shooter, fruit bundle,
home-made jam, crème freche on the potatoes -
beautifully presented and delicious. The large native
art pieces and atmosphere at the restaurant - lovely. I
was able to use the business centre to do personal and
professional work - well appointed, peaceful,
comfortable.
Wouldn't change a thing - it was all perfect. |
