Just a short stay of one night booked through 'last minute'. When reviewing a
hotel I focus on three things: customer service, bedroom and facilities giving
an overall rating of value for money.
I landed at 2am and called for the shuttle bus- this was not available however
the guy in reception sorted a taxi out for me which was paid for by the hotel-
nice touch. Very warm welcome to the hotel and informative yet quick over view
of the facilities/breakfast etc.
Bedroom was very clean also very large. Two double beds and a good sized
bathroom. Fridge and also large tv in the room. Beds very comfortable and hotel
is quiet making for a good sleep.
Had breakfast at the on site restaurant. Although not included in the price-
it's well worth a visit. Great food, well priced and again the staff were
welcoming and accommodating.
I even had time to go to the gym on the 8th floor. For a hotel gym this is well
equipped and even towels are provided. The pool is quite small but again was
clean and refreshing after going to the gym.
All in all a good hotel- well worth the money if transiting in Vancouver.

I am still staying here 3 weeks now at the Executive Airport Plaza and
the GM called me at my room about the review I had for him at
tripadvisor. I was speaking the truth as to what happened nothing else.
Kudos to the GM, He did accommodate my family for the length of my stay.
And after today I was surprised that he called our room about the
review. He left a message as o see if there was anything else he could
do. I have yet to speak to him as I am working allot . And will probably
see him when I have time. Staff and the housekeeping are super friendly
and always have a great smile when we see them. I commend the GM to try
to make it right.

We stayed at Executive airport plaza hotel for a conference. We also had
spare days for looking around Vancouver. One staff in particular,
Eduardo, was extremely helpful with advise of places to see and helped
us book whale watching and some day excursions to Whistler mountain and
Vancouver island. There is a regular free shuttle service from the
airport which is very convenient. There are places for eating breakfast,
lunch and dinner at the hotel which have good food at good prices. All
the staff around the hotel were very friendly and helpful and always
smiling. There is also the Richmond centre a few minutes walk away. I
would definitely stay at this hotel again.

It is what it is, a medium-quality hotel designed for travelers catching
a flight. The free parking helps, as does the free airport shuttle,
which I am sure is a big plus for those without a rental car. Other than
that, don't expect too much. There is nothing to see in the immediate
vicinity, which resembles Chinatown, although I would thoroughly
recommend the Irish pub attached to the hotel, for its bar snack and
The pool is a small effort between the hotel rooms and the restaurant.
We didn't use it because it looked too public, unappealing and cramped,
that seemed to be the view of everyone else as it was empty.
Breakfast - unless it's included, go elsewhere. The buffet is tired,
soulless and a flashback to the 1990's, like the rooms themselves. It's
also not cheap and we regretted eating there.
The rooms? The bed was comfortable, the bathroom dated but clean.
Executive Plaza Hotel Vancouver Airport staff at reception
are helpful and the service pretty good. Next time I'd rather get a
hotel in town as there is more to do, because the airport is easily
accessible from anywhere in the City.

I stayed here with my brother while attending my sister's wedding — we
had an issue with the lighting in our bathroom on the second day, and
despite some initial confusion on the staff's part, they ended up fixing
it fairly promptly.
Laura at the front desk was kind, sweet, and professional, and offered
us complimentary breakfast for the last two days of our stay to
apologize for the delay in fixing the light.
Peter — who was not even the maintenance staff — happily assisted us in
fixing the light, and was professional and delightful as well. Both were
and are paragons of professional courtesy and deserve recognition from
management for their consummate professionalism, patience, and willing
assistance. I only wish employees at other hotels were as friendly and
helpful as they were!
My only complaint would be the layout of the
Executive Plaza Hotel Vancouver Airport — slightly
labyrinthine, but I cannot fault the staff for that! They happily
provided us with a map and directions whenever we needed them.
All in all, a pleasant stay!

I like to gamble as much as the average person, however when it comes to
accommodations I tend to be conservative, well informed...ok I actually
research months in advance where to stay once I leave the tranquility
and comfort of my own home. This time however I threw caution to the
wind and I actually went on one of those booking sites and booked a
hotel that was priced below advertised price, but will not give you the
name of the hotel until you book and pay for the property. This proved
to be an excellent decision as I found out after I paid that the hotel I
got was the Executive Airport Hotel in Richmond. Check in was simple,
typical name, credit card info, here are your keys, but wait...one thing
happened that wasn't typical. The clerk at the
Executive Plaza Hotel Vancouver Airport informed us that
there had been a mix up with the rooms and that we had been upgraded. I
didn't argue, or question it, as it was late, I was tired and I had to
fly out the next day so at that time a bed was a bed. We (husband and
me), took our keys and attempted to find our room...I use the word
attempted as this is the reason I gave this review 4 stars instead of 5.
This is the most confusing property I have ever stayed at. The building
we stayed in was not connected to the main building...or was it in the
same building as the ice machine and vending machines. However once we
navigated our way through we open the door to our room and we were
SHOCKED! This place was not only bigger than my first apartment, it was
a two bedroom, two bathroom, full kitchen, full living room, 3 TV's,
nicely decorated, very clean...now that's an upgrade! We only wished we
had longer than 12 hours there as it was so comfortable and relaxing. So
if your looking for comfort while travelling I highly recommend the
Executive Plaza Hotel Vancouver Airport, the unfortunate
down side to this property was they absolutely under zero circumstances
allow a late check out and the place is difficult to navigate. Those
items are minor to me, as the bed, cleanliness, amenities, and friendly
staff are a lot more important, and this hotel hits high on all of those
